I am a student at FAU High School and am dual-enrolled at FAU, majoring in Data Science and Analytics. I am interested in how computational methods can be used to better understand what happens in the brain. My research focuses on the weights and frequencies of excitatory and inhibitory neurons and investigates how they affect decision-making. Working in the Pena Lab has helped me combine my interests in computer science, data analysis, and neuroscience while developing my skills as a researcher. I hope to continue exploring the intersection of these fields and learn more about how computational tools can be used to investigate the brain.
